My name is Barb Ostaszewski. I have been a dental hygienist since 1977 and graduated from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. Growing up in Midland, Michigan; I married Dave in 1982 and we have a daughter Amber who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband James. My hobbies are riding motorcycles with my husband, horseback riding and snow skiing.

Dentistry is constantly changing and over the years I am proud to have kept up with the changes such as paperless computerized offices, digital 3D x- rays and administering anesthesia. My classes in post graduate education are too numerous to list. Some of my background is in cosmetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute, advanced instrumentation training from Pro Perio in soft tissue (gum)management of periodontal disease and gentle techniques in sonic scaling (power instruments) from the University of Michigan.

Facial Beauty Dental has been my “home” since 2008. Our recently remodeled STATE OF THE ART facility will enhance our patient care. My skills continue to evolve thanks to Dr Smith’s great knowledge and sharing of his dental expertise. I consider myself very lucky to be working with a team dedicated to serving patients with the best that modern dentistry has to offer.
